• Black and White Ribbon
• Hot Glue
• 1” scrap piece of wood
• Paper plate

Instructions

1.     Basecoat the books with White.

2.    Dip the block of wood into the Black.  Lightly glide the block along the top and the edges.  This gives the books a distressed look.

3.    Paint the words “welcome” and “hello” with Summer Sky.

4.    Glue the books together with the hot glue.

5.    Glue the words to the front of the books.

6.    Paint “hi” next to welcome and hello in Black.

7.    Tie the books together with the black and white ribbon.
