Wood Block Jack-o-Lanterns
Recycle those old blocks of wood from your DIY projects to create some fun and funky jack-o-lanterns. Easily add a distressed look to your pumpkins with FolkArt Home Decor Chalk.

Instructions

  1.  Basecoat all 3 blocks with Monarch and let dry.
Pumpkin Faces
  1. ( large and medium block as shown)  Following basic instructions on layering block, distress with black as shown on edges.  Let dry and sand lightly.
  2. Using a pencil draw a simple face onto each pumpkin as shown and paint with black chalk paint.  Let dry.
  3. Using Mod Podge Ultra spray on pumpkins and smooth with large brush.  Let dry.
  4. Attach wood stem and floral leaf with wood glue and let dry.
Fabric Pumpkin
  1.  Using wood block as a pattern, cut fabric to fit all sides of block.
  2. Spray fabric with Mod Podge Ultra and wrap block as shown.  Press and smooth fabric onto block and let dry.
  3. Attach wood stem as shown with wood glue.  Let dry.
