Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Follow the “Cut Lines” to cut out the pattern using scissors or a craft knife.
  2. Lay the pattern on 4mm EVA foam and trace the outlines.
  3. Using a craft knife, cut the shape out of the EVA foam.
  4. Transfer the “Score Lines” from the pattern to the foam (including the stars, if desired).
  5. Using a craft knife, score these lines making sure not to cut all the way through the foam.
  6. Use a heat gun to heat the foam thoroughly, being careful not to burn the foam. This process will cause the scored lines to open up, making the lines more prominent.
  7. While the foam is warm to the touch, lay the foam shape on a mannequin head and carefully use your hands to shape the foam to the mannequin face. Hold the foam shape in place until the foam is cool.
