Assorted Hand-painted Apple Barrel Ornaments

Brushstroke ornaments:

1. Remove the ornament top if possible
2. Base coat ornaments solidly in white
3. Choose a light and dark color for each ornament, i.e. Light and dark green
4. Using a flat brush and your lighter hue, paint spaced out brush strokes in one direction.
5. Go back with the darker hue and paint additional brush strokes in the same direction, filling in some of the white space.

1. Remove ornament tops if possible
2. Base coat each ornament in your chosen background color
3. Using different sized dotting tools, create patterns radiating out from the center where possible.
4. Add smaller dots within dots or contrasting edges for interest.

2. Basecoat the ornaments in white
3. Choose your color pallet for each ornament
4. Create a gradient with a small flat brush by blending one color into the next

1. Mix a 2:1 ratio of Apple Barrel Paint with Apple Barrel Pouring Medium in your diposable cups.
2. Lay our your disposable baking tray or wax paper on your workspace to keep your work area clean.
3. Lay your ornaments on tray or wax paper.
4. Pour your paint and tilt and swirl the ornaments to create a marbled effect.
5. Let dry overnight.
