Chic Florals -- Napkin Decoupage on Stretched Canvas

• 16” x 20” Stretched canvas
• Scissors
• Paper napkins with floral pattern
• Floral wire
• Masking tape
• Transfer paper
• Hot glue
• Craft knife

Instructions

• Basecoat canvas with Wicker White using largest brush and painting in criss-crossing directions. Let dry.
• Using the sketch included, transfer the vase design to the canvas with a light transfer paper.
• Paint vase using the #6 Round Brush and Licorice Black. Let dry. Add Wicker White highlights to vase. Mix Licorice and Wicker White to create a light grey. Lightly brush light grey on bottom 5” of canvas to create a table top.
• Cut out floral sections of the paper napkins, apply Mod Podge to the canvas in the areas that you want to add the floral napkin designs.
• Place the napkins onto the wet Mod Podge and lightly press down. Arrange as desired and let dry.
• On back of canvas, grid with masking tape to provide more support for the artificial flowers.
• Using an Xacto knife, cut a few 1” horizontal slits above the vase top and insert floral stems and greenery.
