instructions

Mix resin according to instructions on packaging.
Split resin evenly into 3 cups.
In one cup of resin, mix in a small scoop of pink pearl pigment. In the second cup, mix in 2 drops of aqua Mod Podge Alcohol Ink. The third cup of resin will stay clear.
On a protected work surface, place the canvas so it is balanced on 3-4 upturned cups. This will allow for excess resin to drip off of the canvas so it doesn’t pool around it. Note: cups and work surface will get resin on them, so make sure they are disposable.
Begin slowly pouring a small amount of each resin mixture onto the canvas. They can be poured in striped patterns, or swirls. Continue adding more resin, alternating colors until the desired look is achieved.
Sprinkle gold flakes onto the canvas between coats of resin.
Gently lift the canvas (wearing gloves) and swirl it to softly blend the colors together.
Allow to harden for 24 hours.
When the resin is cured, if resin dripped onto any areas that you did not want, gently sand it away with sandpaper.

Once Mod Podge Resin has been completely cured, it can be decorated or embellished with paint, markers, ink, and more. Once decorated, it is recommended that the surface be protected by pouring a thin top coat of clear Mod Podge Resin over the decorated surface.

Yes, Mod Podge Resin can be applied to a surface in layers. The second layer can be applied once the first layer has set. This could be one to two hours, depending upon the humidity level and temperature in the room.

Can I use a mold when working with Mod Podge Resin? And what types of molds work best?

Mod Podge Resin works best with all types of molds. Some molds like a silicone mold will not require a mold release agent, while other types of molds made of plastic polypropylene or polyethylene sheet plastic will require a mold release agent
