Other Things You'll Need

  • Downloadable pattern
  • Large glass bottle
  • 3" x 3" canvas
  • Painters tape
  • DMC satin embroidery floss, 3820 Dark Straw
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • 3" x 5" Notecard

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the bottle. Tape 2" section from the bottom of the bottle.
  2. Apple the Gold Glitterific with ¾" flat brush. Layer the glitter until you achieve desired coverage.
  3. Paint the canvas with Pure Black.
  4. Wrap the floss around the notecard fifteen times using the 5" length. Cut two pieces of 5" floss. Once the floss has been wrapped, slide one piece through floss and tie in a knot. Remove the notecard and tie the second piece around the top to create a tassel. Cut the bottom loops of the tassel.
  5. Punch a hole in the center of the canvas. Thread the tassel through the top and tie into a knot.
  6. Hot glue the canvas to the lid of the bottle.
  7. Cut the printable out and adhere to the bottle with Mod Podge gloss. Once the glue is dry add a top layer to the bottle.
  8. Fill the bottle with rolled money to resemble mini diplomas.
