DIY Party Hats

Celebrating a birthday? Create custom party hats your guest will love! Personalize with your favorite patterns and colors, then top with a pom-pom for extra flair.

Other Supplies

•    White Printer Paper
•    Tissue Paper
•    Pom-poms
•    Pencil
•    Hot Glue
 

Instructions

  1. Print an image of a party hat template and cut it out. Trace the template on a piece of printer paper. Erase any lines of pencil that might be on the paper.
  2. Tear strips of tissue paper. Apply Mod Podge to your paper and lay the tissue paper on top. Use your fingers to flatten the tissue paper to the printer paper. Let dry,
  3. Seal the paper with Mod Podge. Let dry.
  4. Attach the ends of the hat with hot glue to make a party hat.
  5. Glue pom-poms to the top of your hat.
