Instructions

  1. Using a 1” brush, basecoat your cut piece of plywood using Snow White. Let dry.
  2. Using scissors, cut a piece of Waverly Inspirations Bloom Lagoon fabric that is several inches larger than your wood piece on all sides.
  3. Cut and fold a piece of batting to the size of your wood piece. The thickness of the batting piece should be as thick as you would like your seat cushion to be.
  4. Lay your fabric face-down on your workspace. Place your folded batting piece in the center. Set your piece of wood on top of the batting. Make sure the batting and the wood are the same length and width.
  5. Fold the sides of the fabric up and over your piece of wood and hot glue in place, one side at a time. Fold the corners like a bedsheet and pull over the top. Hot glue into place.
  6. Use scissors to trim any excess fabric.
  7. Turn the finished cushion over and set on top of the storage crate.
  8. Basecoat your circle plaque in Snow White using a 1” brush. Let dry.
  9. Trace a small bowl or drinking cup in the center of your circle plaque. Paint the circle with Steel. Let dry.
  10. Using Capri, stencil your initial onto the plaque with a ½” stencil brush and the Alphabet Basics stencil set. Let dry.
  11. Using hot glue, adhere your monogrammed plaque to the front of the storage bin.
