Egg Carton Paper Mache Bowls

Instructions

1. Tear egg cartons into small piece and soak in water in a small tub overnight.
2. Place the soaked pieces of the egg cartons into the food processor and fill up to the maximum level. Blend until you have a paste.  This should make one small bowl.
3. Remove from food processor and squeeze the excess water out as much as possible. 
4. Add ½ of the bottle of Mod Podge into the paste and knead the mixture until it is completely mixed.
5. Place the plastic wrap on the inside of the bowl and mold the mixture to the bowl.  Allow to dry for 3 days.  Once dry remove from bowl.
6. Remove all the layers of the napkin leaving only the printed layer.  Mod Podge the napkin to the bowl using the large Mod Podge Brush.  Allow to dry.
