  • Beer caps
  • Wooden skewers
  • Tiny clothespins
  • Hot glue
  • Note for grandparent(s)

Instructions

  1. Paint fence White using a large flat brush. Let dry.
  2. Tape across all pickets with stencil tape. Using a flat brush, paint the top half in Cloudless. Let dry.
  3. Remove tape.
  4. Trim and paint the skewers in Parakeet to create stems. Let dry.
  5. Paint two clothespins per flower in Parakeet for leaves. Let dry.
  6. Place beer caps with logos facing down on a cloth placed over solid ground. Hit with a hammer at an angle to flatten out the cap rim to create a flower shape. Paint with two coats of Yellow letting the coats dry in between.
  7. Cut the faces into 1” round circles. Coat the inside of a prepared cap with Mod Podge. Lightly coat the backside of the image. Place inside the cap center and press in place with fingers. Let dry.
  8. Hot glue the stems to the back of each flower. Clip two leaves in various heights to each stem. Attach to the fence by applying hot glue to the back of the two leaves and press onto the fence.
  9. Hot glue two clothespins to hold a personal note. Using a liner brush you can enhance the note by painting a border and hearts.
