Alter a plain gift box with scrapbook papers and embellishments and of course… Mod Podge.
Instructions
- Trim your scrapbook paper to the fit around the heat box. (not the lid portion). Apply Mod Podge Matte to the back of the paper and to the sides of the box. Position your paper on the box and smooth any wrinkles with your fingers. Allow 15 minutes to dry. Top-coat with a layer of Mod Podge and allow to dry for two hours.
- Apply a coat of Mod Podge Super Gloss to the top and sides of the lid. Sprinkle with gold glitter and tap off the excess. Allow to dry and add a second coat of glitter.
- Hot glue a flower embellishment to the top of the box and ribbon around the box.
TIP: Super Gloss Mod Podge is great for glittering because it dries very shiny so it won’t dull your glitter.
