Instructions

Base coat the vase with Calypso Sky and allow to dry.
Paint the vase with Calypso Sky and while that is wet, blend in Aqua on the right side of the vase. Highlight the vase with Calypso Sky and Titanium White, then with just Titanium Whtie.  Add an accent of pale green made Calypso Sky and Sunny Yellow.
Establish leaf forms with Sap Green + Burgundy to form a very dark green. While wet, highlight with some Medium yellow forming a lighter green color.   Then add highlights with some Sunny Yellow.
The hydrangeas are painted by dabbing on a base of Calypso Sky, then as that is drying, add some lighter patches of Titanium White.  You will see variation in the color because of the wet color underneath.  Add some touches of a pale pink made with Burgundy and Titanium White. Add loose “outlines” around the flowers with thin Sap Green + Burgundy applied with a liner brush.
The vase is sitting on green splotches. Apply the Sap Green + Burgundy first and then a lighter green with Sap Green + Sunny Yellow.
