Other Supplies

  • Respirator
  • Gloves
  • Cups
  • Torch
  • 1 ½” Painters tape
  • Legos
  • Wooden Frame
  • Sandpaper

instructions

  1. Basecoat frame with Wicker White.
  2. Make a wall around the frame with tape. 
  3. Follow instructions on resin packaging for mixing.
  4. Pour a thin layer of clear resin on to the frame.
  5. Arrange the legos on the frame.  Allow the resin to sit for 4 hours.
  6. Pour more resin over legos until they are completely covered.  Use the torch to remove any bubbles.  Allow 24 hours for the resin to harden.
  7. Remove the tape.
  8. Round the edges with sandpaper.  Remove any dust.  Tape off the back of the frame to keep the resin from running over onto the back.
  9. Pour resin over the entire frame again and let the resin go over the edges to cover the sides. 
  10.   Remove tape from the back of frame.
