instructions

  1. Paint your bigger pumpkin in French Gray and let dry. Paint the stem with Eggplant and let dry.
  2. Paint your smaller pumpkin with Eggplant and let dry. Paint the stem with Treasure Gold copper and ley dry.
  3. Use your dotter tools and FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paints to make dots on your pumpkins until you reach your desired pattern. Replenish your dotter tool with paint frequently- the more paint on your tool, the bigger the dot. For large dots, swirl your dotter tool in a circle to reach the desired size of the dot. Wait for the dots to dry completely before you attempt to layer dots.

Cool colors are all the colors on the Green and Blue side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Green, Green, Blue/Green, Blue, Blue/Purple, Purple are all cool colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
Transparent colors are thinned with medium or water to create a wash or a glaze of color that you can see through to the underlying surface.
Warm colors are all the colors on the yellow and red side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Orange, Orange, Red Orange, Red, Red/Purple, Purple are all warm colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
