Feel like going for a ride? FolkArt and Mod Podge can take you there with this dreamy autumn bicycle sign to decorate your walls for the season!
This project features these great brands:
At a Glance:
Cut napkins to the shape and size of your surface.
Remove ply from the back of the napkins.
Cover the surface with a thin layer of Mod Podge.
Slowly apply the napkins to the Mod Podged surface. Use your fingers to smooth out any ripples or air bubbles.
Cut as much excess paper from around the edges of the surface as you can.
Use a lighter to burn/trim the remaining excess napkin paper so that it perfectly lines the shape of the surface. Allow the surface to fully dry.
Paint the wooden bike your choice of Folk Art Multisurface Acrylic Paints colors. Once it’s dry, use hot glue to attach the bike to the surface.
Cut a miniature foam pumpkin in half, then paint it with your choice of Folk Art Multisurface Acrylic paint color. Allow it to dry.
Use a toothpick to create small holes at the top of your foam pumpkin. Fill in the holes with miniature fall leaves and flowers.
Use hot glue to attach the pumpkin in place of the bike's basket.
Tie a burlap bow around a piece of twine, then staple the twine to the back of the sign if you’d like to hang your artwork.
