Old books
Mason jar
Floral
Dowel stick
Hot glue
Pencil
Hello Hobby number stencil
Hello Hobby paint brushes
Painters tape

Paint the exterior of each book using your choice of Waverly Inspirations chalk paint.
Use a fine tip paintbrush to customize and paint a special message on to the bind of one of the books.
Outline the number of your Hello Hobby stencil onto the wood ornament using a pencil.
Use the heating tool to burn and fill in the outlined number.
Use hot glue to attach the wooden dowel stick to the bottom of the wood round.
Use painters tape to section off one half of the mason jar.
Paint the bottom half of the mason jar using your choice of Waverly Inspirations chalk paint. Remove the painters tape once the paint has dried.
Fill the mason jar with floral and the burned wooden round.
Stack the painted books, then add the filled mason jar on top.

Can Waverly Inspirations Chalk colors be mixed to create new colors or different values of the same color?

Yes, you can create custom colors by mixing any number of the Waverly Inspirations Chalk paints together.

Start with the lightest color, adding in darker shades until desired color is achieved.

Do I need to prep my surface before applying Waverly Inspirations Chalk?

The benefit of painting with Waverly Inspirations Chalk is that no prep work such as sanding, stripping or priming is needed.

When painting on previously used furniture, simply clean the surface using a glass cleaner to remove dirt or dust particles. When painting on glass surfaces, make sure to clean surface using rubbing alcohol.

Do I shake or stir Waverly Inspirations Chalk before using?

Stir well to incorporate the paint. Use straight from the bottle or pour a small amount onto a palette.
