• Black paint pen or marker
• Wax paper, Palette, Water basin, Iron

Instructions

1. Prep the tote bag by pre-washing and pressing flat.
2. Place a piece of wax paper inside the bag.
3. Print out the downloadable artwork. Place inside the bag and position into place. You should be able to see the artwork clearly through the front of the bag.
4. Using the black permanent marker, trace around all of the artwork. Let dry.
5. Place a pressing cloth over the artwork and press with a hot iron to set.
6. Pour a small amount of each watercolor onto a palette. Begin painting a letter with an undiluted color of your choice and then add water to the paint to create a lighter color. Before the first color dries repeat with a second color to create a watercolor effect.
7. Paint inside each letter using at least two of the watercolor acrylics. Let dry.
8. Once dry, if you would like it even more vibrant in areas simply paint a second coat. Let dry.
9. Place a pressing cloth over the artwork and press with a hot iron to set.
10. Add a decorative trim with fabric glue if desired.
