Other Supplies

  • Large thrifted frame
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Dry eraser markers
  • Large piece of foamcore board
  • Craft knife
  • Ruler
  • pencil

instructions

  1.  Remove the glass from the frame.
  2. Clean glass with the
  3. Paint the frame with Treasure Gold.
  4. Tape off seven ¼” stripes going horizonal.  Make sure all the lines are equally spaced.
  5. Apply the etching cream following the instructions on the bottle.
  6. Tape off six ¼” stripes going vertical.  Make sure all lines are equally spaced.
  7. Apply cream to glass.
  8. Cut the foamcore board to fit the frame.
  9. Paint the entire board with Fire Coral. 
  10. Once dry tape off the top portion and the bottom portion and paint Navy.  Refer to the photo for placement of color.
  11. Cut out flowers from the scrapbook paper and Mod Podge on the Navy portions of the board.  Refer to photo for placement.
  12. When putting the frame back together make sure the etched side of glass is facing the board on the inside.
  13. Plan out your month using the dry erase markers on the glass.

Cool colors are all the colors on the Green and Blue side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Green, Green, Blue/Green, Blue, Blue/Purple, Purple are all cool colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
