Other Supplies

Tall round tin with lid, Wooden knob – 1¾”, Dauber - ?”, Spouncer® – ¾”, Paintbrushes – ¾” flat brush and stencil brush, Craft tape – ¼” and ¾”, E-6000® craft adhesive, Foam plate, Water container

Instructions

  1. Use the flat brush to paint the lid in Hot Rod Red.  Using the stencil brush and stencils, paint “cookies” on the lid in White.
  2. Use the flat brush to paint the knob Real Brown.  Glue the knob to the lid.
  3. Use the ¾” tape to mask off the upper section of the tin.  Use the ¾” and ¼” tape to mask vertical stripes of varying widths on the tin.  Paint the stripes with the flat brush and Sublime Lime, Dandelion, Hot Rod Red, Pumpkin Orange and Real Brown.  Remove the tape while the paint is wet.
  4. Use the Spouncer to paint half circles around the tin in Real Brown. Center each circle on the lower edge of the masked area to create a scalloped design.  Remove the tape while the paint is wet.
  5. Use the dauber to add dots in Pumpkin Orange and Sublime Lime.
  • Tip:  For crisp dots, dip the Spouncer in paint and offload on a foam plate or paper towel to remove excess.
