Does FolkArt Home Decor Chalk paint contain latex?
Plaid does not use any natural rubber latex in any of its current paint products. Plaid’s paint products are manufactured using synthetic acrylic resins.
Do I need to seal FolkArt Hand Lettering Paint?

Yes, projects using FolkArt Brush Lettering Paint should be sealed with a clear acrylic spray sealer to protect the project surface and to keep the paint’s metallic colors tarnish-resistant. After the paint has dried and cured, very lightly spray the project surface, then wait 60 seconds before spraying a medium application to seal; allow to dry completely.

How much paint coverage will I achieve with one 8 fl. oz. bottle of FolkArt Home Decor Chalk paint?
FolkArt Home Decor Chalk will cover 1 to 2 square feet per ounce, depending on thickness of application. One 8 fl. oz. bottle of paint will cover up to 16 square feet.
Can I speed up the drying process of FolkArt® Texture Paint using a fan or hair dryer?

FolkArt Home Decor Chalk should be cleaned from your painting tools using soap and warm water immediately after each use.
Can I create any special effects with FolkArt Milk Paint?
Yes, FolkArt Milk Paint is versatile and can be used many ways. Apply a standalone color or use to create a distressed appearance. This versatile milk paint can also be thinned with water to achieve a washed look. By thinning the paint a soft color wash can be applied to the surface for just a hint of color while highlighting the natural wood grain.
How should I apply FolkArt Milk Paint Bonding Primer & Sealer to topcoat my completed project?
Simply load the FolkArt Milk Paint brush with the FolkArt Milk Paint Bonding Primer & Sealer then apply the sealer to your completed milk painted project using long, smooth brush strokes. While wet, you will notice FolkArt Bonding Primer & Sealer is milky yet it will dry to a clear, flat finish.
What is the best way to apply FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint to fabric surfaces?

Can I basecoat with FolkArt® Outdoor™ paint?
Yes.
If you are basecoating concrete, for example for a bird bath or statue, a lime neutralizer is needed. Household vinegar works fine. Coat the concrete with vinegar, let it dry, wash it off, dry thoroughly, then it's ready to paint.
It is not ideal to basecoat a large concrete area to walk on (ie: a patio).
How thick should I apply my FolkArt® Fabric™ Brush-on Paint?
When applying FolkArt® Fabric™ Brush-on paints to fabric, use a moderately heavy application of paint. It is best to keep your brush full of paint when painting with FolkArt® Fabric™ Brush-on paint, moderate to heavy applications will have greater durability. A lighter application of paint will have less durability.
