How much area will one 8 oz. jar of FolkArt® Chalkboard Paint cover?

Single coat coverage for one 8 oz. jar is 10.75 sq. ft. Since at least two coats are recommended, one jar will cover approximately 5.25 sq. ft.

Can I speed up the drying process of FolkArt® Texture Paint using a fan or hair dryer?

We recommend air drying the FolkArt® Texture Paint. Using a fan or hair dryer may remove the moisture from the paint too quickly and cause the paint to crack.

How do I clean FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint out of my brushes?

The paint easily cleans up with soap and water while still wet.

Can I use water to thin FolkArt Watercolor Acrylic Paint?

Yes, water can be used to dilute FolkArt Watercolor to achieve a variety of wash effects.

How long does it take for the FolkArt® Shinys to dry/cure?

FolkArt® Shinys dry within one hour and are cured in 24 hours depending on humidity.

On what surfaces can I use FolkArt® Shinys?

FolkArt® Shinys can be used on wood, paper mache, canvas, terra cotta, galvanized tin and most porous surfaces. They are not recommended for use on glass or ceramics.
