What is the paint cure time when working with FolkArt Home Decor Chalk paint?

FolkArt Home Décor Chalk paint will dry to the touch almost immediately, however it will take 24 hours before fully cured to the surface.

Is it necessary to seal or varnish FolkArt Watercolor Acrylic Paint?

Projects created using FolkArt Watercolor Acrylic Paints do not need to be sealed; however, for extra durability and protection, project surfaces can be sealed using FolkArt Acrylic Lacquers or brushed with FolkArt Artists’ Varnish

Can I paint or antique FolkArt® Texture Paint?

Yes, FolkArt® Texture Paint can be painted or antiqued after it has cured to change the color or finished look.

Do I have to seal FolkArt® Texture Paint?

No, it is self sealing. If it will be exposed to the elements outdoors, it should be sealed with FolkArt® Outdoor Varnish.

Can FolkArt® Texture Paint be applied to a flexible surface?

FolkArt® Texture Paint should not be applied to flexible surfaces because it may crack.

On what types of surfaces can I use FolkArt Watercolor Acrylic Paint?

Many surfaces can be decorated with FolkArt Watercolor Acrylic Paint, such as wood, papier mache, paper, glass, canvas, and fabric. On sealed surfaces such as glassware, ceramics, tin, metal, and plastic, FolkArt Watercolor should be used for decorative purposes only.

Can I use a project created with FolkArt Ultra Dye outdoors?

No, FolkArt Ultra Dye should only be used on indoor surfaces.
