How long should I wait between coats?

You should wait at least 1 hour before applying an additional coat of FolkArt® Shinys.

How do I clean up after using FolkArt® Shinys?

FolkArt® Shinys should be cleaned up while wet with soap and water.

Can I use water to thin FolkArt Pouring Medium?

Thinning FolkArt Pouring Medium is not necessary, as it is manufactured to the perfect consistency to create a variety of marbled effects using either the Direct Pour Method, the Dirty Pour Method, or the Flip Cup Method.

Do I need to support or back my fabric project while painting with FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint?

It is best to provide a firm painting surface such as wax covered cardboard between your fabric project and your work surface.

Can I use Apple Barrel paint on plaster?

Yes, you can use Apple Barrel paint on plaster. However, because plaster is very porous and sometimes dusty, you will need to first seal the piece with a clear acrylic matte spray sealer.

How can I get rid of the paint build up on a paper stencil that has been used many times?

Paper stencils are not intended for life-long uses. If your stencil is well used and paint has built up over the design with use, you might be ready for a new paper stencil or you may try this tip: gently sand the dried paint build up with a very fine grit sandpaper.
