FolkArt® Shinys were developed for use on wood and most other porous surfaces. They are not for use on glass and ceramics like the Liquitex Glossies. Plaid developed

Glitterific should be applied to a surface using either a Taklon bristle brush or a foam applicator. The best application technique is to “lay” the
paint onto the surface without excessive brushing or stroking of the applicator tool.
Projects created using
FolkArt Watercolor Acrylic Paints do not need to be sealed; however, for extra durability and protection, project surfaces can be sealed using
FolkArt Acrylic Lacquers or brushed with
FolkArt Artists’ Varnish

Over time, that is perfectly natural. As air becomes trapped in the top portion of the
paint bottle (after it has been opened and
paint used) a
paint skin may form. With each
paint use, it is best to remove the top skin before stirring the
paint.
FolkArt Home Decor Chalk will cover 1 to 2 square feet per ounce, depending on thickness of application. One 8 fl. oz. bottle of
paint will cover up to 16 square feet.
Single coat coverage for one 8 oz. jar is 10.75 sq. ft. Since at least two coats are recommended, one jar will cover approximately 5.25 sq. ft.
