How long does it take FolkArt Coastal Texture Paint to dry?

Under optimal conditions, Coastal Texture Paint will be dry to the touch in two hours; however, variables like project surface, humidity, and thickness of paint application can impact the complete dry time.

How should I clean up after using FolkArt® Texture Paint?
Clean brushes or applicators (brushes, palette knife) while wet with soap and water.
Since FolkArt® Texture paint can be applied to porous surfaces, does that mean I can apply it to fabric?
No, FolkArt® Texture Paint is not recommended for fabric application.
How long does it take for FolkArt® Texture Paint to dry/cure?
FolkArt® Texture Paints dry in 24 hours. Total cure time is between 48 to 72 hours depending on the thickness of the paint and the humidity.
Can I mix two or more FolkArt® Texture Paint colors together?
All FolkArt® Texture Paint colors can be intermixed to create custom colors. They can be mixed before use or mixed as they are applied to the project.

Yes, FolkArt Coastal Texture Paint which dries to a textured, weathered surface that is water, weather and fade resistant making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Additional weathering on an outdoor surface simply adds to the charm of the coastal “worn-by-the-sea” effect.

How long does FolkArt Home Decor Texture Chalk paint take to dry and cure?

Allow a minimum of 2 hours of dry time between coats, depending upon thickness of application. Once dry, FolkArt Home Decor Texture Chalk will take a minimum of 48 hours before fully cured to the surface.

How much coverage will one container of FolkArt Coastal Texture Paint provide?

One container should provide up to 5 sq. ft. of coverage.

Can I speed up the drying process of FolkArt® Texture Paint using a fan or hair dryer?
We recommend air drying the FolkArt® Texture Paint. Using a fan or hair dryer may remove the moisture from the paint too quickly and cause the paint to crack.
