When creating a decoupage project, how do I glue my designs to my surface?

Lightly coat the back of the print with Royal Coat or Mod Podge, using a sponge brush or flat brush.
Place the print in the desired position. To work out all the air bubbles and excess glue from under the print, press lightly with your fingertips, working from the center outward. Be sure that the edges have adhered well. The squeegee and brayer in Mod Podge Professional Toolset are also helpful.
Wait a few minutes for the glue to set before gently dabbing around the edge with a damp sponge or paper towel.
When layering designs, allow the first layer to dry completely before applying the second layer. Apply the second layer in the same manner. Allow the project to dry completely before proceeding.
