Other Supplies

Large wood block, Unfinished wood shape- Owl, 3 pieces coordinating scrapbook papers, # 4 Flat brush, #2 Liner brush

Instructions

  1.  Basecoat block and Owl with Wicker White, let dry.  Sand lightly.

  2. Paint Owl as shown-body green, let dry.

  3. Paint block with Sky Blue, let dry. Sand lightly to create distressed finish

  4. Using wood shape as a pattern, cut papers to desired size to cover areas shown.  Apply papers following general directions on Mod Podge. Let dry.

  5. Apply large paper to cover sides of block with Modpodge.  Let dry.  I used 2 different papers.
  6. Paint face on owl with colors shown. Let dry.

  7. Glue Owl as shown.

  8. Using Licorice and liner brush add- be Whoo you are to side of block.

  9. Finish with thin coat of Modpodge, let dry.
