Other Supplies

  • Mod Podge Mod Melts, White #24887
  • Mod Podge Mod Mold, Flowers #24889
  • Plastic hand mirror
  • Foam paintbrush
  • Pencil
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Scissors
  • Gold trim
  • Rhinestones
  • Gem glue
  • Hot glue

Instructions

  1. Trace the shape of the hand mirror onto the back of a piece of scrapbook paper. Cut out the design.
  2. Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to the back of the scrapbook paper, position onto the mirror, smooth with your fingers to remove any air bubbles. Wait 10 min. and then top-coat with a layer of Mod Podge. Add three layers of top-coat with 20 min dry time in between. Cut additional paper designs (flag shapes) and apply them to the mirror in a flag pattern.
  3. Create 3 Mod Melt flowers by heating a Mod Melt stick in a high temp glue gun, fill a mold with the Mod Melt, allow to cool, remove from the mold and paint with FolkArt acrylic paint. We used Brilliant Pink, Pure Orange and Metallic Aquamarine. Top-coat the flowers with Extreme Glitter if you want to add sparkle.
  4. Glue gold trim across the tops of the flags. Glue a cluster of gems and Mod Melt flowers to one side of the flags.
