Other Supplies

Pencil pouch, Painter’s tape, Flat back crystals

Instructions

  1. Wash the pouch to be stenciled first to remove sizing.
  2. Place a piece of wax paper inside pouch to prevent bleed through.
  3. Tape the stencil in place on the pouch with painters tape.
  4. Dip your brush into the white paint and swizzle it around on a separate section of the plate. Blot off the excess paint on a paper towel and begin applying the paint over top the stencil.
  5. Stencil a layer of white and leave to dry. Do not remove the stencil.
  6. Add a second coat of gold paint to the stencil. By stenciling white first, the gold will be bright!
  7. Remove stencil and set aside to dry.
  8. Use Fabric Mod Podge to adhere flat back crystals.

Tip: Wash the stencil in warm soapy water and blot dry with paper towel.
