Other Supplies

  • Assorted natural baskets
  • Large wood tags with natural wood beads
  • Painters tape

Instructions

Large Golden Ochre Basket

  1. Tape off basket as shown, about 3" from top.
  2. Using Large Flat brush paint below the tape with Golden Ochre and let dry.
  3. Remove Tape.
  4. Paint large tag with Burnt Umber and let dry. Using stencil brush and Linen apply stencil design as shown. Remove stencil when paint is still wet.

Large Striped Basket

  1. Tape off the bottom 5" of basket and paint with Linen and large flat brush. Let dry.
  2. Tape off a 1" stripe above Linen and paint with Golden Ochre, let dry and remove tape.
  3. Tape off the large Navy stripe and paint with Navy Blue, let dry.
  4. Paint tag with Navy blue and let dry.
  5. Using stencil brush and Linen add stencil design to tag as shown. * Remove adhesive stencil with paint is still wet. Let dry.
Small Striped Basket
  1. Tape bottom stripe of basket and paint with Burnt Umber and medium flat brush, let dry and remove tape.
  2. Leaving a small stripe of natural basket, tape off the blue stripe and paint above the tape and to the rim with Navy Blue and medium flat brush. Let dry and remove tape.
  3. Basecoat tag with Golden Ochre and medium flat brush. Let dry.
  4. Using stencil brush and Navy Blue, stencil design as shown onto tag. Remove stencil when tape is still wet and let dry.
  5. Attach all tags to baskets and enjoy!
