How should I apply Mod Podge Pearl to my project?

It is best to brush a coat of Mod Podge Pearl onto the project surface as well as evenly over the back of the paper to be decoupaged. Flip the paper over, place it onto the project surface joining glue to glue, and then press to smooth out any wrinkles or captured air pockets using a Mod Podge brayer or squeegee. Allow to dry 15–20 minutes before applying a topcoat of Mod Podge Pearl. For a simple and quick finish, apply a smooth, thin layer of Mod Podge Pearl to the decoupaged surface.
NOTE: Additional applications will increase the pearl effect and may obscure your images. If desired, a light spray of Mod Podge Acrylic Sealer can be applied as a final topcoat for additional protection.
