How do I use a Mod Podge Mod Mold?
Mod Podge silicone Mod Molds can be filled with the melted Mod Melt.
Simply place a Mod Melt into a high temp mini glue gun. Once heated, squeeze the trigger and apply the melted Mod Melt stick into the silicone mold starting in the center and working your way to the edge of the mold. While keeping the mold flat, allow the Mod Melt to cool for 10 minutes. The Mod Mold is flexible which makes for easy removal of the molded embellishment; it will simply “pop out!”
When filling my Mod Podge Mod Mold, I accidentally “over-filled” it, what can I do?
That can happen sometimes, once the Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishment has been removed from the mold, you can easily trim any excess using a craft knife or sharp fine pointed scissors.
Can I color a Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishment?
Once the Mod Mold embellishment has been removed from the Mod Mold, it can be used as is or it may be decorated with color using acrylic craft paint, inks, stains, glazes, Mod Podge Sheer Colors, glitter, nail polish, embossing powders, or even decoupaged with tissue paper.
What tools can I use to decorate a Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishment?
When coloring a Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishment, you can use any of the following tools: Mod Podge Spouncer®, Mod Podge Detail Brush, sponge, foam applicator, or simply drizzle a glaze or Mod Podge Sheer Color over.
What can I do with a Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishment after it is made?
Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishments can be used on almost any craft project where a little extra pizzazz is required.
Embellish everything from decorative use mason jars, wood plaques to notebooks and jewelry to name a few items. Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishments also are perfect when creating a decoden-style project incorporating Mod Podge Collage Clay.
What surfaces can I adhere a Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishment?
Mod Podge Mod Mold embellishments can be applied to any decorative surface such as wood, terra cotta, glassware, tin, ceramics, canvas, paper mache, metal jewelry blanks, or even fabric.
