Instructions

Green (bottom left)

  1. Using Martha Stewart Crafts Stenciling Tape, mask off your desired painting area.
  2. Using a stencil brush, pounce Martha Stewart Crafts Paint in Pea Shoot. When dry, repeat on reverse side until completely covered.
  3. After your basecoat of paint is completely dry, use Martha Stewart Crafts Adhesive Stencils in Typewriter and a stencil brush monogram the center of your journal in Martha Stewart Crafts Paint Jonquil Satin.
  4. To apply your fabric die-cut pieces, use a decoupage brush and take your multi-surface durable decoupage in Matte finish and apply a layer of decoupage directly to your journal in the desired area while simultaneously applying a layer of decoupage to your fabric die-cut pieces.
  5. Wait 1-2 minutes and take your fabric die-cut pieces and place them on the journal to adhere.
  6. Wait 1-2 hours before applying another layer of multi-surface durable Decoupage in Matte finish over your fabric pieces to secure.

Tip: Be sure to leave a minimum ¼ “halo around the edges of your pieces for maximum adhesion.

Natural (top right)

  1. To apply your fabric die-cut pieces, use a decoupage brush and take your multi-surface durable decoupage in Matte finish and apply a layer of decoupage directly to your journal in the desired area while simultaneously applying a layer of decoupage to your fabric die-cut pieces.
  2. Wait 1-2 minutes and take your fabric die-cut pieces and place them on the journal to adhere.
  3. Wait 1-2 hours before applying another layer of multi-surface durable Decoupage in Matte finish over your fabric pieces to secure.
