Other Supplies

Large glass block, Foam Paintbrush, Old book pPages, Ribbon, String of lights

Instructions

  1. Tear the book pages into squares and rectangles.  Working on the backside of the glass block, glue the book pages to the glass by applying Mod Podge to the block and paper, position the paper on the block, smooth with your finger and top-coat with more Mod Podge.  Repeat until the entire back and side are covered with book pages.

  2. Freehand a skull shape to the front of the glass block with leading lines.  For this design we used 3 lines.

  3. Fill in the skull shape with White Pearl Gallery Glass.  Use a pin to pop air bubbles.  Fill in the outer edge of the skull with Amber Gallery Glass. Allow to dry over night.

  4. Tie a ribbon around the block.  Thread a string of lights into the base of the block and pulg in for a glowing look.
