Incorporate some gold into your crafting time this weekend by crafting for St. Patrick's Day. Make your own luck and craft your very own shamrock, pot-of-gold, or rainbow. Collect your painting treasures and see what rainbow of crafts you can create. Whether you're of Irish descent or you just like the colors, these crafts are ideal for a night of crafting with friends and family.

And what is St. Patrick's Day without GOLD! FolkArt Treasure Gold is the perfect paint for adding shine to your pot of gold creations. Pssst...in March Plaid is launch some new colors of Treasure Gold. Stay tuned!

The things you have laying around your house can be crafted into a treasured piece for years to come. Learn more below about how we created a rainbow of colorful projects using a variety of Plaid products.

Create your own eye-catching pot-of-gold as a decor piece for your desk or dining table. We reclaimed an old terra cotta pot leftover from last spring to create this blinding pot-of-gold. Tip: Paint rock salt to make your pot look like it has realistic nuggets of gold.

This simple green and black buffalo check sign would be beautiful hanging in a foyer or in a kitchen.

If you like to keep things subtle and elegant try upcycling those old wine bottles and turning them into a stunning table centerpiece. We also used some glitter scrapbook paper and extra gold ribbon that we had to finish off this gorgeous piece.

This year for your St. Patrick's Day party make sure your guests have a hand painted plate and mug that they can take home.

This shamrock stitched project is an easy way to make a decor piece. Paint an old frame with FolkArt Home Decor Chalk to give it that pop of green.

Before you start crafting make sure you have a variety of greens on hand. Choose your favorite color of green from any of Plaid's brands to ensure no pinching on March 17.

Happy Crafting!
