• 12” x 16” Wood plank
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Craft knife
• Plate glass
• ½” x 4” Dowel rod
• Hot glue gun
• Foam brush

Instructions

1. Using the pattern provided for the diamond shape, print out and place the diamond shape on to the plate glass and then the stencil blank on top. Use the craft knife to cut out the diamond shape following the lines. Cut out four (4) diamonds – one for each of the four colors.
2. Measure and mark lightly the center of the wood plank. Place a diamond stencil at the top center mark and stencil in diamond with Metallic White Opal.
3. Directly under the Metallic White Opal diamond, place another diamond stencil (following the center line) and stencil in diamond with Metallic Copper.
4. Repeat alternating the Metallic White Opal and Metallic Copper diamonds down the center line.
5. Create the next line of alternating diamonds (to the right of the White Opal and Copper diamonds and in the half diamond space) starting with Metallic Black Opal at the top followed by Metallic Golden. Repeat alternating Metallic Black Opal and Metallic Golden.
6. Create the next line of alternating diamonds (to the left of the White Opal and Copper diamonds and in the half diamond space) starting with Metallic Golden at the top followed by Black Opal.
7. Repeat diamonds to create overall pattern as shown to cover plank.
8. Use stencil brush to paint dowel rod with Metallic Golden. Let dry. Glue to top center of plank.
9. Print out Maple Leaf shape provided to create a stencil as in step 1.
10. Apply Mod Podge Matte to wrong side of fabric (just enough fabric for 3 leaves) and let dry . Trace leaf shape from stencil and cut out fabric. Paint in leaf veins and edges if desired using Metallic Black Opal.
11. Tie a length of jute around pumpkin stem.
12. Glue leaves around pumpkin stem.
