Birdhouse Christmas Village

Instructions

1. Base coat the wood bird house using your choice of Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint. 

2. Use scissors to cut out holiday themed Mod Podge printables that you would like to decorate your bird house with.

3. Paint a light coat of Mod Podge onto the parts of the birdhouse where you’ll be placing the printables designs.

4. Slowly apply the printables using your fingers to smooth out any wrinkles and air bubbles. 

5.  Use scissors or a sanding block to remove any excess paper around the edges of the birdhouse. 

6. Paint Mod Podge onto the edges of the roof and anywhere else you would like to add fake snow. 

7. Sprinkle the fake snow over the Mod Podged areas. 

8. Cut out candy elements and Mod Podge them onto a piece of cardstock. 

9. Cut the candy elements out and hot glue to the front of the birdhouse to create a 3D effect. 

10.  Use scissors or a sanding block to remove any excess paper around the edges of the birdhouse. 

11. Paint Mod Podge onto the edges of the roof and anywhere else you would like to add fake snow. 

12. Sprinkle the fake snow over the Mod Podged areas. 

13. Cut out candy elements and Mod Podge them onto a piece of cardstock. 

14. Cut the candy elements out and hot glue to the front of the birdhouse to create a 3D effect. 

Wood Slice Ornaments with Mod Podge

Instructions

For painting: 

1. Use your choice of FolkArt Gold Metallic Paint or Color Shift to paint and design your wooden and plastic ornaments. 

2. If you would like to paint the inside of the bulb, pour paint inside of it and swirl it around. Place the bulb upside down on a drying rack for best results. 

3. Allow the ornament to dry, then cut and tie festive ribbon around the top of it.

 
For Mod Podge: 

1. Use scissors to cut out the Mod Podge Printable designs. 

2. Apply a light coat of Mod Podge onto the wood slice ornament.

3. Slowly apply the printable design onto a wood slice ornament using your fingers. 

4. Allow the ornament to dry, then cut and tie festive ribbon around the top of it.

Painted Wine Glasses

 

Instructions

1. Cover the top inch of the wine glass with painters tape. Using FolkArt Multi-Surface paints, create bright Christmas designs on the wine glasses. Remove the tape and let dry.

2. Cover the top inch of a wine glass. Use a brush to apply Mod Podge Dishwasher Safe Glitter beneath the line of tape. Remove the tape before drying.

3. Cut out Mod Podge printables and add them to the glasse using Mod Podge Dishwasher Safe. 
    

Holiday Layered Shapes

 

Instructions

1. Use Apple Barrel paints to transform Plaid Layered Wood Shapes into seasonal décor. For example, paint the pickup truck as a Tree Farm truck, paint the gnome as an elf or water down the Apple Barrel paints to create a watercolor effect and paint misteltoe on the wooden tag.
